Welcome to Week 8!!
Keep up the great work everyone!
Are you interested in ceramics? Have you always wanted to create a sculpture? Play on a potter’s wheel?![]()
Mickey is willing to offer a Studio Arts elective class that focuses on ceramics and sculpture. If you are interested in participating, please let Linda know.
Once we have a list of students who are interested we will create a schedule.
Attention Grade 9 students.
The deadline to submit work for Term 1 is rapidly approaching. Could you please submit any completed work by next Tuesday, November 3rd for grading.Thank you.
This year, I have asked students to try out the Mango Languages program through the Vancouver Island Regional Library website this year for their second language study. I was just wondering how it is working out for everyone?
Could you please let Linda know if the program is meeting your needs. Is it challenging enough? Does it cover enough content? Is it easy to use?
Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Could you please provide feedback before November 1st. Thank you.
Due to my continuing illness, I am going to have to cancel Foods this Thursday. I don’t want to contaminate any of the food during the prep work!!
Art will still take place so please come and enjoy what Mickey has to offer.
If any families still have text books from their old schools, can you please return them as soon as possible.![]()
Thank you!
The Fused Glass pieces are now available at CHOICES for pick-up.
Everyone created such wonderfully creative pieces.
They all look absolutely amazing!!
The Foods class will be taking place on Friday at 1:00pm for this week only.
It will return to Thursday at 1:00pm next week. I hope that everyone can make the new time. My apologies if this incoveniences anyone.
My sincerest apologies to all of the families who drove to the Fused Glass only to discover it will take place tomorrow. I can confirm that the actual Fused Glass Workshop will take place tomorrow, Thursday 8th at 1:00pm. I am truly sorry for the confusion.
As a result, Foods will need to be rescheduled. I will post another blog shortly to inform everyone of when Foods will take place.
Thank you for your understanding.
